I like the Harry Potter books very much, and having read a lot of interviews of Jo Rowling I think it is no wonder that the books are such a success. Besides being wery well written, the story is also planed in every detail, and it is a real pleasure to re-read the books and discover an hint that will be used 3 books later.
3 years ago, I was saying "no, these Harry Potter books and films are a to big success, this must be marketing crap". I'm happy my brother lend me book 3 when I my Books-to-read-pile was abnormaly low...
Like thousand of people around the world, I'm waiting for book 7 eagerly...
Uptade after having read Book 7 (twice): hey, I was not bad at all :-)
Please do not read this page if you have not read the books and don't want to know important keys to the plot.
A few guesses I did for book 6 (Harry inherited 12, Grimauld Place and Kreacher) where right. Some other where wrong (I tought Hermione would have her say about Kreacher beeing in Harry's possession). Book 6 opened a wide place for speculation and guesses, and I'd like to mark my guesses down, to see if they become right or wrong.
Quoting JKR: «I can't answer that question because it's a spoiler, isn't it»
I do not belive Snape is a supporter of Voldemort anymore. He did to much against Lord Voldemort (for example sending the order to the ministry in book 5) for this. He had to choose between killing Dumbledore or killing himself (the unbreakable vow). Perhaps Dumbledore told Snape to kill him if he has no choice. He hated it, but he had to do it ("Don't call me a coward!"). At the end of book 7, Snape still protects Harry and prevents him from using dark magic: "No Unforgivable Curses from you, Potter!".
I belive snape was in love with Lily or at least appreciated her as beeing one of the few people beeing nice to him. And I belive it was enought for Dumbledore.
I think that Snape (and Wormtail) will help Harry in some way to get rid of Lord Voldemort.
I think so. And I think that Hagrid will become head of Gryffindors house.
I can not belive that Ginny will let Harry down, neither will Luna nor Neville.
