Does not read logfile

Hi, am using ipfm 0.11.5 on RedHat? 9, it works great except when ipfm is restarted it clears the logfile! so it doesn't read the loggile when starting. I am using it to count incrementally (with CLEAR NEVER), so it is a disaster when the server is rebooted and ipfm restarted it clears out the logs.... How can I make it read the logfile and continue it's count from what it read? Thanks!

Hi,

This functionality is not implemented in IPFM (*). You have two ways to fix your problem: * use the "append" configuration line, IPFM will not remove the log data but append it's new log at the end of the file. * use minutes (or even seconds) in the name of your file, so you are sure that IPFM will use a new filename at each dump.
